David J. Bierman, Owner

David has been with the firm and its predecessors since December, 1984. He has litigated cases to trial in state and federal court and argued cases before the State Court of Appeals and Washington State Supreme Court. He frequently serves as an arbitrator in King and Snohomish Counties. David has served on the Professionalism and Legal Assistants Committees of the King County Bar Association. He has also served as a mediator for private disputes.

Ann Thoeny, Associate

Ann has extensive trial experience in courts throughout the Puget Sound region. She started her career at a general practice law firm, but left to gain trial expereince as a public defender in King County. During her twelve years as a public defender, she tried cases in municipal, district and superior courts, and argued cases before the court of appeals. She then worked as in-house counsel for Hartford Insurance for five years where she managed a large personal injury caseload, including trial work in King, Pierce, and Snohomish county. At Alexander & Bierman, her practice focuses on personal injury and construction defect claims.
